Leslie "Tuger Bill" Whittle, 88, died Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the Russell County Hospital. He was born October 11, 1927 in Indianapolis, IN to the late James Elmer & Sola Owens
Whittle.
He was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Hollis "I.U." Whittle and a sister, Lucille Braley.
Survivors include a wife of 59 years, Monnie Whittle, Russell Springs

Funeral service for Leslie "Tuger Bill" Whittle will be 10 AM. Thursday December 31, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Elvis Tucker officiating.
Visitation 6-8 PM. Wednesday.
Burial in the McBeath Cemetery with full military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.
