Leland Ballenger, 84, of Jamestown, KY, passed away Sat. Nov.14th at his home in Jamestown.
Leland was born in Jamestown, KY, on April 13, 1931, a son of the late Mary Jane (Lawless) and Cellie Ballenger.
He worked in the Service Station and was a farmer.
Leland is survived by
two daughters, Patty (Donald) McKinney, of Vallonia, IN and Patty (Phil) Patton, of Brownstown, IN.
two step sons Rod Parrish, and Rick (Tammy) Parrish both of Albany, KY
two sisters Alene Pennington, of Dayton, OH and Paulette Stoyell, of Shepherdsville, KY
three brothers Johnny Ballenger, of Russell Springs, KY; Lindsey Ballenger, of Jamestown, Ky,;
and Gary Ballenger of Columbia, KY
9 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Eleanor (Susie) (Moore) Ballenger, Companion Inez Parrish, daughter Carolyn Wallsmith, sister Betty Lou Stearns, two brothers Glen and Leonard Ballenger, one great grandson.
Funeral Services for Leland Ballenger will be Sat. Nov. 21st, 11:00am, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY, with Pastor Michael Patton officiating.
Visitation Friday, Nov.20th after 5:00pm at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Parrish Cemetery in Albany, KY
