He was born June 1, 1938, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Herman & Eunice Brown Silcox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Travis & Jerry Silcox, and one grandson, Thomas Gore. He was a member of Knifley Christian Church, a carpenter and enjoyed serving as a handyman in the Knifley and Roley area.

Four Grandchildren – Christy Lockhart, Stephanie Webb, Laurece “Rece” Silcox & Larry “Trey” Silcox, III
11 Great-Grandchildren & Several Nieces & Nephews also survive
Funeral Service – Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Hugh Withers & Bro. Raymond Martin officiating
Burial in Humpress-Hovious Cemetery in Knifley
Visitation 5 – 8 P.M., Friday
