Ida Mae Wheeler age 82 years of the Chance community passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 4:16 AM at her daughters home in Mannsville, KY.in Taylor County

She was born on Oct. 13, 1932 at Chance, KY in Adair County
She was the daughter of the late George William & Nancy Guinie Morrison Loy
The widow of Jay Wheeler who preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2009 also preceded death one son James Eldith Wheeler.

She is survived by seven daughters:

Linda Hendrickson & husband J. W. of Columbia, KY

Connie Wheeler of Columbia, KY

Phyllis McHam & spouse Kerry Kearney of Columbia, KY

Patricia Wheeler of Columbia, KY

Diane Hatcher & husband Doug of Columbia, KY

Sandy Wheeler of Columbia, KY

Jeannie Cox & husband Kerry of Mannsville, KY

One son

Donnie J. Wheeler of Chance, KY

One sister

Dellar Cheatham of Chance, KY

15 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren

Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives & friends survives

Mrs. Wheeler was retired from Fruit of the Loom & was a homemaker

Services will be private

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy are suggested to take the form of a donation to the Adair County Food Pantry for needy children & families and may be made at the funeral home.
