Joseph Dennis “Joe Denny” Roberts, age 70 of Lebanon, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky. He was born on August 13, 1945 in Lebanon, KY. Mr. Roberts was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired employee of Cedars of Lebanon, and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by: Parents: Cornelius Augustin and Mary Alice Mattingly Roberts. Son: Justin Roberts. Two Brothers: Neil Roberts, Jr. and Billy Roberts.

Survivors Include: Two Sons: David Shawn Roberts- Campbellsville, KY; Daniel (Cherise) Gootee- Eminence, KY. Two Daughters: Azure (Sam) Hall- Campbellsville, KY; Taylor (Chad) Hardin- Lebanon, KY. Brother: James Roberts- Louisville, KY. Four Sisters: Barbara Spalding- Lebanon, KY; Alice Shouse- Lebanon, KY; Judy Roberts- Bardstown, KY; Dorothy Myers- Louisville, KY. Three Grandchildren: Gavin and Madalyn Gootee and Kager Joseph Hardin

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Lebanon National Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Bosley Funeral Home with prayer services at 7:00 p.m
