Born May 10, 1929 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Clarence Gilmer Gadberry and Molly Emiline Wesley Gadberry. He was a former employee of Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and retired from Penn Ventilators. He attended the Ferndale Baptist Church. John had polio as a child but lived a long and full life.
Survivors include two brothers, William Gadberry of Junction City and Billy Ray Dunkin of Liberty; and three sisters, Mildred Jones and Shirley Wesley both of Danville and Ruby Dick of Science Hill.
Graveside services are 12:30 P.M. Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Spaw Cemetery. Burial will follow service.
Visitation is Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
