Jim Symmes, 59, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 7:10 A.M. at his home.
He was born June 28, 1956, in Anderson, Indiana, to the late Richard & Naomi Keys Symmes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Danielle Symmes on May 14, 2014, one brother, Michael Symmes and one sister, Kathy Jo Foy. Jim was the owner of Vision Communications.

His wife of 27 years, Debbie Hoover Symmes of Columbia
Three sons – Richie Symmes of Columbia, Justin Symmes of Texas, Jason Nuterspaugh of South Carolina
One daughter – Bre Emerton of Anderson, Indiana
Two brothers – Richard Symmes and Tom Symmes both of Anderson, Indiana
One sister – Susie King of Evansville, Indiana
Several grandchildren, other relatives and friends
Jim chose cremation and a memorial service will be held later
