Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, William H. Lewellen; their children, William C. (Cecelia) Lewellen of Centerville, Indiana, Bea (Norman) Brockman of Hagerstown, Indiana, Gina (Burnis) Loman of Connersville, Indiana, Brad (Lisa) Lewellen of Cambridge City, Indiana, and Lorri Maples of Wakarusa, Indiana; grandchildren, Alicia Pierce, Andrea Uhl, Sarah Lewellen, Casey Brockman, Shelby Lewellen, Kayla Lewellen, and Lauren Lewellen; three great-grandchildren, Lex Pierce, Lilly Pierce, and Keaton Gray; sisters, Peggy Burton of Columbia, Kentucky, and Dorothy Swafford of Georgetown, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Bradley Lewellen; sisters, Maxine Bailey, Gloria Curry, Margie Burton, Margeret Lewis, and Joyce Lewis; brothers, Charles Lewis and Gene Lewis.
Visitation for Jennie Belle Lewis Lewellen will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2016, at Temple of God, 1005 Hunt Street, Richmond with Rev. John Ward officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
