James Welby "Jimmy" Baker age 75 of Bowling Green, KY formerly of Burkesville, KY passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Jimmy was born on January 01, 1940 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Farris Baker and Nina Gwinn Baker. He was a retired road inspector for the Kentucky Department of Transportation, and a veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Baker, and one sister, Barbara Jane Baker.

Three Sons- Tawd Baker of Louisville, KY, Jeffrey Baker of Bowling Green, KY and Cody Baker of Bowling Green, KY
One Daughter- Kim Scott of Louisville, KY
Two Brothers- Jackie Baker and Joel Baker both of Burkesville, KY
One Sister- Janice Gray of Celina, TN
Two Grandchildren- Jacqueline Shelby Sanders, and Noah Zachary Baker
and a host of other relatives and friends also survive

Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Baker Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
