James LeRay Berry, 82, was born in Nolin, KY on May 2, 1933. He departed this life on December 15, 2015. At the time of his passing he was in the loving home of his daughter, Rosalea Berry, and granddaughter, Ashley Schaeftlein.
Native to Hardin County, he is the son to the late Marcus Jerome Berry and Eva Mae Tudor. He is survived by his three daughters Michele Moore, Rosalea Berry, and Jennifer Helton. Three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter, Savannah Rose.
In his early days he was a lineman for LGandE and later he became an over-the-road heavy haul truck driver. He drove a semi for 40+ years. Trucking was his passion and the highway was his home.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, his maternal grandparents, H. Harvey Thompson and Delia Watkins, and his paternal grandparents, Alphonsus Berry and Mary Jenkins, whom he will be buried with.
We will say "so long" on Friday, December 18th, 2015 at 11:00am at a graveside service at Gilead Baptist Church in Glendale, KY.
