James "Bill" William Bullock

James "Bill" William Bullock, age 85, of Somerset, KY departed this life on Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Rockcastle Health and Rehab Center in Brodhead, KY.  

Bill was born on August 18, 1930 in Elgin, KY to the late Cossie James Bullock and Clara Cecil Ping Bullock. He was raised in the Woodstock community and was a farmer. Bill was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  

He is survived by his wife, Ova Irvin Bullock whom he married on October 31, 1953 in Bee Lick, KY; a son, James Robert (and Diane) Bullock of Somerset; a daughter, Patricia (and Rex) Mink of Somerset; seven grandchildren, Christopher William Mink, Renee (and Matt) Becker, Clint Bullock, Jordan Lee Mink (and Amanda King), Kris Bullock, Robbi (and Tom) Neeley and Kevin Bullock; and seven great grandchildren. 

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jewell Ping and Fern McWilliams; and a grandson, Greg Allen Mink. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. 

His funeral service will follow the visitation on Wednesday, at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Gilbert Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Woodstock Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rex Mink, Christopher Mink, Jordan Mink, Clint Bullock, Matt Becker and Tom Neeley. 

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Gideon Bible Memorial Fund.  

Lake Cumberland Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for James William “Bill” Bullock.
