Irene Bryant, 79, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia. She was born March 11, 1937 in Russell County to the late Christopher Columbus & Letha Marie Foley Scales.
She was a homemaker and a member of Faith General Independent Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers & sisters.
Survivors include a Husband of 60 years, Jessie O. Bryant;
son: Dickie (Donna) Bryant, Columbia, Ky.
2 grandchildren: Lisa Marie Bryant, Columbia, Ky and Brandon (Michelle) Bryant, Glasgow, Ky.
3 sisters: Verene Wheat, Cinn., Ohio; Lenola McFarland, Cinn., Ohio; and Geraldine Twyford, Russell Springs
a brother: Garnett Scales, Cinn., Ohio
Funeral service for Irene Bryant will be 1 PM. Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating.
Visitation after 5 PM. Saturday and 11 AM Sunday.
Interment in the Free Union Cemetery.
