Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 6:34 am at the Golden Living Center in Greensburg, KY after several months illness.
He was born in Chance, KY on September 6, 1929 the son of the late Dan and Lula Turner Coomer besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Vanus Coomer and two sisters Annie Mae Petty and Dorothy Pelston
Mr. Coomer is survived by his wife of 56 years Lola Mae Hulse Coomer of Cane Valley, KY
Two daughters: Annie Coomer of Columbia, KY, and Bertha Dabney (Terry) of Watertown, Tennessee
One son: Stanley Coomer and wife: Mary Margaret of Campbellsville, KY
One brother survives Floyd Coomer of Palos Heights, Illinois
Two sisters: Vanola Estes and Edith Gowen both of Louisville, KY
Five grandchildren: Loni Coomer, Michaela Taylor, Candice Taylor, Robert Taylor,
William Dabney and by six great grandchildren he is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends
Mr. Coomer was a member of the House Upon a Rock Church and was a retired overhead crane operator for General Motors in Springfield, Illinois
Funeral service: Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Interment in the Fudge Cemetery at Breeding, KY
