Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Mattingly II; son, Joseph Theodore Mattingly; brothers, John A. Hamilton and Joseph Edward Hamilton; sisters, Mary Corine (Bud) Ryan, Margaret (J.B.) O’Daniel, Lucille (Earl) O’Daniel, Elsie (Adrian) Carrico, Theresa, Alberta (John Irvin) Ewing; daughter, Ann Hope Mattingly; and grandson, John H. Mattingly IV.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Edward (Jane) Mattingly of Campbellsville, John H. (Cindy) Mattingly III of Calvary, James Barry (Debbie) Mattingly of Calvary, and Andrew Hamilton (Gwen) Mattingly of Calvary; daughters, Frances Trudy (Wayne) Wheatley of Raywick, Elizabeth Darlene (Richard) Britton of Campbellsville, and Pamela (Mark) Spalding of Lebanon; sister, and Wilby Jean (John) Brussell; also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchild.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 01, 2022 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Holy Name of Mary Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. officiated by Deacon Joe Dant.
