Harry Truman Loy

Harry Truman Loy age 70 years of Columbia died Sunday Feb. 14, 2016 at 7:54 PM at TJ Health Columbia Emergency Room. He was born on March 22, 1945 in Adair County.

He was the son of the late Holland Woodrow & Nina Wilson Loy & was preceded in death by one brother Bobby W. Loy.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Depp Loy of Columbia, KY
One son Michael Loy & his wife Robin of Columbia, KY
One daughter Angela Loy Cook & her husband Bryan of Columbia, KY
Two brothers Marshall Loy & his wife Joan of Columbia, KY
Dennis Gene Loy of Columbia, KY
Sister-in-law Mary Odean Loy of Columbia, KY
3 nieces & one nephew Janet Parrish, Cheryl Corbin, Carolyn Hale & Steven Loy
5 Grandchildren Alex Durham, Kate Durham, Amber Loy, Justin Truman Loy & Ashley Loy
a host of other relatives & friends survive

Harry was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church, a teacher & a former Adair County High School principal, a former superintendent in Muhlenberg County & Livingston County, 
He was an official with the Kentucky Department of Education.

Funeral service Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Clergy officiating Bro. Neil Janes
Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery
The family has requested in lieu of flowers a donation to Columbia United Methodist Church, Lindsey Wilson College Golf Team, The Lindsey Wilson Singers or the Adair County Family Resource Center & may be made at the funeral home
