Gwen was born on October 22, 1960 in Danville, KY to the late Richard Thomas Halloran, Sr. and JoAnn Moore. In 1981, she graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Education. In 1988, she graduated from Eastern Kentucky with a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education. In 2004, she received a Doctorate of Theology in Ministry from Cathedral Bible College in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In 2001, she established Life Abundant Ministry and Healing Rooms in Somerset, Kentucky.
Words from her boys, "she was one of the most God fearing women, we are honored and greatly appreciative that she was our Mother".
She is survived by three sons, Winston Correll, Victor Correll and Zachariah Correll all of whom were born and raised in Somerset, KY; her mother, JoAnn Moore of Somerset, KY; her husband, Rev. Lou Badolato whom she married in 2006; two brothers, Rick (and Lisa) Halloran of Somerset, KY and Bobby (and Michelle) Halloran of Richmond, KY; niece and nephews, Hunter and Hailey Halloran and Noah and Elijah Halloran; father-in-law, Ward Correll.
Along with her father she was preceded in death by her first husband, Vince Correll whom she married in 1982 and he preceded her on July 1, 1996.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 19, 2016 after 5:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Rev. Lou Badolato and Pastor Steve Mullins officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
