Gordon Blaine McKee

Gordon Blaine McKee, 74, of Jamestown,Ky. (formerly of Franklin County, Indiana) died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at his residence. Born in Sharptown, Indiana in 1941, he was the son of the late Ellis & Viola Neal McKee. He was united in marriage to the former Linda Farmer who survives.

He loved fishing, camping, boating, and gardening.

He owned & operated several businesses throughout his life, and in 1986 purchased property on Lake Cumberland, Ky. and developed Timber Pointe Resort Park. After selling the park he had also owned & operated Hookers Crane truck for several years. He was a state certified electrical inspector for SKRECC. Gordon was a member of the Harmony Masonic Lodge #11 F. & A.M. of Brookville, where he had served in every chair.

Besides his loving wife, Linda, survivors include
3 children: Jeff (Jennifer) McKee, Cinn., Ohio
                  Lori Farmer, North Attleboro, MA
                  Richard (Autumn) Farmer, Lawrenceburg, IN

9 grandchildren: Cody McKee, Justin McKee, Haley Miles, Casey Miles, Conner McKee, Harrison McKee, Hannah McKee, Luke Farmer, Boone Farmer

2 great grandchildren: Peyton McKee, Hunter McKee

Preceded in death by a son, Scott Bryan McKee and a sister, Ellen McKee Estes

There will be a visitation 6 to 8 PM. Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel in Russell Springs.

The funeral service will be held at the Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville, Indiana.

Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Brookville.
