She was united in marriage to the late Loyd H. Milby Jr. on April 2, 1966 in Tennessee. He later preceded her in death on September 8, 2001 in Taylor County. She had made a profession of faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Robbie Milby and his fiancé Spring Squires, One granddaughter Whitney Henderson and her husband James, Two Great-granddaughters Gracelyn Faith and Aubree Hope Henderson all of Green County.
Also, a special niece Shirley Wilson Edwards and her husband David, two great-nieces Andrea and Savonna Edwards all of Elizabethtown. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Shirly Meadows Wilson of Taylor County.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Maedell Meadows Milby will be conducted 10 a.m., Central Time Friday at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery.
Visitation is requested from 5 until 8 p.m., Central Time, Thursday and after 7 a.m., Central Time, Friday at the funeral home.
