Frank Wethington, age 68, of KY Hwy 49 in Liberty, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at his residence.
Born December 9, 1947, in Woodford Co., KY, he was the son of the late George Woodrow and Ola White Wethington. Frank was a factory worker and a mechanic. He enjoyed playing guitars and singing. He also worked on lawn mowers.
Survivors include his wife whom he married on August 26, 1967, Rita Allen Wethington of Liberty; son, Mark Wethington of Liberty; daughter, Anita Edwards of Liberty; sisters, Genevia Cochran of Indiana and Betty Rodgers of Liberty; 3 grandchildren, Bethany (Billy) Crawley, Tabitha Edwards, and Taylor Wethington; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne Wethington; sister, Patricia Lane; and grandson, Mark Wethington II.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2016, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to help offset funeral expenses.
