Everett "Tude" Simpson age 81 passed away on Sunday March 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Liberty, KY on December 11, 1934 to the late John William and Mary Mae Yates Simpson. He was the widower of Dorothy Louise Meeks Simpson. He was a self employed logger, former employee of Liberty Motors, Griffen-Wesley Ford and Wright Implement, was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Athen's Church of God.
Survivors include: One Son: Jeffrey Simpson. of Liberyy, One Daughter: Tammy Pevley of Liberty, Five Grandchildren: Lucas, Matthew and Amanda Simpson, Nikki Brock and Rick Pevley, Seven Great Grandchildren: Bradley and Holden Randolph, Chloe Simpson, Addysob, Alexis and Jace Brock and Gabby Pevley.
Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse was One Brother: Arvil Simpson and One Sister: Halle Pearl Simpson.
Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday March 23, 2016. Bro. Dallon McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the South Fork Ridge Cemetery with Military Rites performed by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.
