She was born July 2, 1930, in Cane Valley, Kentucky, to the late Thomas Oscar and Nancy Grant Edrington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Burton, a daughter, Glenna Mann, two brothers; Owen & Russell Edrington and a sister, Rachel Wilson. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and retired from Fruit of the Loom.
Survivors include:
Two daughters – Cathy (Harold) Lawless and Sherry (Tommy) Cook all of Columbia
Two sons – Roger (Lisa) Burton of Vine Grove and Freddie Burton of Columbia
One brother – Ray Edrington of Campbellsville
One sister – Inez Powell of Coburg
12 grandchildren – Jackie Phillips, Brent (Karen) Anderson, Tara (Timmy) Franklin, Tina Cook, Pamela (Gary) Helm, Carolyn (Wade) Breeding, Teresa (Dwayne) Hargis, Anita (Bobby) Webster, Marsha (Terry) Popplewell, Donald Burton, Anna Alley, Joey Burton

Funeral service – Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. CST at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Pescosolido officiating
Burial in Bearwallow Cemetery
Visitation after 4:00 CST Monday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and after 7:00 A.M. CST Tuesday at the church
Memorials are suggested to either Gideon Bibles or the JOY Group at Trinity which may be left at the funeral home or church
