Eugenia Rabon Groce 76 of Glasgow died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late William Clyde Peden and Leona Morgan Peden. Mrs. Groce was employed with Houchens Markets and Trans Financial Bank. One of her favorite past times would be shopping for antiques. She was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband Seth Groce; 2 sons Tommy Groce (Tammy) and Gary Groce (Missy) both of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Adam Groce (Cassie), Tyla Esterle (Brad), Brittany Pour (Darius) and Seth Groce; 1 great-grandchild Ada Lee Groce; and Mica, Molly, Trigg, Wade, Jack and Ben whom she treated as grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Faye Bradshaw (J.R.) of Temple Hill and 3 brothers Ray Peden (Karen) of Texas, Jimmy Peden (Cherry) of Glasgow and Henry Peden of Smiths Grove. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers Frank, Billy and Aubrey Allen Peden.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, January 4th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 2:00 Sunday.
