Ray had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a retired truck driver. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Donnie Dile and Linda Gail Ervin.
He is survived by his wife Mildred, one son: Christopher Ray Dile and his companion, Allie Cornett, two daughters: Christina Rhea Dile and her companion, Bobby Wright and Amy Nicole Dile, all of Greensburg, two brothers: Jerry Dile and his wife Kay of Summersville, Gary Russell Dile and his wife Laura, of Greensburg two sisters: Diana Smith and her husband Bill of Greensburg and Alma Jean Lile and her husband Leonard of Center, five grandchildren: Lacey Marie Callahan, Amber Nicole Callahan, Brayden Chandler Dile, Clara Grace Coulter and Austin Curtis Banks, his in-laws: James Glen Posey, Don and Michelle Salmon, Carolyn and Dennis Young, Wayne and Wendy Dial, Steve and Janie Dial. Special friends: Bobby Bingham, Kim Penick and Linda Dobson. The family would like to extend a ”Special Thank You” to Lifeline and Hosparus.
A Graveside service for Mr. Estel Ray Dile will be 1 p.m. Central Time Tuesday at the Haven Hill Cemetery in Columbia with Bro. Lloyd Dial officiating. Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
