Eric Newcomb of Campbellsville, son of William E. “Bill” Newcomb and the late Barbara Ann Johnson Newcomb, was born July 9, 1959 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 11:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 56
He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and was a former employee of General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas.
He is survived by his father, Bill Newcomb; one brother and sister-in-law, Lyle and Diann Newcomb and two nephews, Wyatt and Jonathan Newcomb all of Campbellsville; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
