Elbert Clinton Kerr, 76, of Sonora, passed away Thursday December 10, 2015 at his Residence in Sonora.
He was born in Leitchfield, Ky. to Roy and Tishie Alvey Kerr. He was a retired Custodian for Hardin Co. Board of Education. He was a member of Bolton Missionary Baptist where he served as a Deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Betty Kerr Ash, and Wanda Kerr Burba.
He is survived by his loving Wife, Dorothy Meredith Kerr of Sonora, KY, two sons, James C. (Tessa) Kerr of Hodgenville, and Larry R.(Tonya) of Sonora, one daughter Ginni Kerr Adkins of Madison, Al two sisters, Pearl Hodges of Clarkson, KY, and Dorothy Perkins of Louisville, KY, two Brothers, Layman Kerr of Louisville, KY, and Ronnie Kerr of Glendale, KY, six Grandchildren, Derek Adkins, Brady Adkins, Dillan Geisert, Coltan Geisert, Brooke Geisert, Chris (Katie) Kerr, three great-grandchildren, Paxton Kerr, Parker Kerr, Payton Brewer
Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 12, 2015 2:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora, KY With Bros.Terry Priddy and Stanley Wooden officiating. Burial will be held at the Sonora Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 11:00 am to 8:00 pm or Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Manakee Funeral Home in Sonora.
