
He was a US Navy Veteran of both World War II and the Korean War. He retired from United States Steel, Great Lakes Fleet after 34 years of service. After retirement he worked for the Dairy Herd Improvement Association in Russell County.
He professed his faith in Christ and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral service for Elba Wolford will be 10 AM. Wednesday, June 3, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richie Curtis and Bro. Tom Wolford officiating.
Visitation after 5 PM. Tuesday.
Interment in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
