Edward McReece Modglin, Jr was born March 12, 1943 the son of the late Edward McReece and Ida Faye Modglin Sr, He passed away Wednesday, February 17th, peacefully, surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer, reaching an age of 72 years.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ethel (Foster) Modglin; five children, Edward Modglin III, Kamell (Marty) Bechtell, Raymond D. (Angela) Modglin, Chloie Modglin and Matthew Modglin; 11 grandchildren; and a large extended family.
Modglin was a machine repairman and retired from Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis after many years of service. He was a member of the American Legion, and of Hillcrest Baptist Church later in life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering with antique tractors.
Visitation is Saturday from 5 to 9 PM
Funeral Service is Sunday at 2 PM at the Hickey and Son Funeral Home.
Burial in Clark-Foster Cemetery.
