Edward Eckhart age 86 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Cumberland County Hospital. Ed was born on February 02, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Clarence and Elizabeth Lane Eckhart. He was a former employee of Dover Elevator Company, was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of American Legion Post 113. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Elizabeth McKendrick, Angela McKendrick, and Nickolas McKendrick.

One Step Daughter- Lisa Davidson(and Dusty) of Middletown, Indiana
Two Step Sons- Joe Davidson(and Joyce) and Stevie Davidson(and Alison) all of Burkesville, KY
Four Grandchildren- Lisa Stone, James Jordan, Anne Kirby, and Michael Kirby
Five Step Grandchildren- Stevie Joe Davidson, Mikie Calvert, Valerie Lone, Candy Norris(and Josh), Chelsea Calvert(and Paul)
Three Great Grandchildren- Zachary Stone, Sophia Stone, and James Jordan, Jr.
Six Step Great Grandchildren- Kylie Joe Key, Charles Kain, Brooklyn Lone, Preslee Norris, Gulia Norris, and Coy Norris

Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST., Burkesville, KY with burial in Burkesville Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
