Edward Athanasius “Eddie Boo” Mattingly, age 78, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born on June 9, 1937 in Calvary, KY. Mr. Mattingly was a retired farmer.
He is preceded in death by: Parents: E.A. Mattingly and Nannie Elizabeth Harmon Mattingly Two Brothers: Joe and Charlie Mattingly Sister: Pat Mattingly
He is survived by: Two Daughters: Jennifer (Mark) Vaughn—St. Joe, KY; Elisha (Toby) Hagan—Loretto, KY. Two Brothers: Thomas Louis Mattingly—Springfield, KY; Willie Boo Mattingly—Calvary, KY. Four Sisters: Gracie Campbell—Campbellsville, KY; Barbara Bartley—Lebanon, KY; Betty Jane Bickett—Louisville, KY; Theresa Arnold—Frankfort, KY. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Jared and Logan Vaughn, and Wyatt and Weston Hagan.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the Holy Name of Mary Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Bosley Funeral Home. A Prayer service will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at Bosley Funeral Home.
