Dorothy Devney, 87, died Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the home of her son in Danville. She was born April 10, 1928 in McQueary County to the late Scott & Nannie Baird Lovett.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Devney; 3 children, Selva Jean Myers, Margie Popplewell, Wilbern Myers; a sister, Alma Ruth Lovett; and a brother, Fred Lovett
Survivors include 2 children: Deborah (Jack) Baker, Hamilton, Ohio and Jonathan (Virgie) Devney, Danville, Ky.
17 grandchildren-several great grandchildren
2 sisters: Anna Kidd, Ohio and Retha , Florida
Funeral service for Dorothy Devney will be 1:30 PM. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Fields officiating.
Visitation after 12 Noon Thursday.
Interment in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.
