Doris Faye Conover, 73, of Fairdale, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Norton's Hosparus Care Center in Louisville.
She was the daughter of the late Otto & Dorothy Popplewell of Russell County. She was a former manager of the Treasure Chest Hallmark Store in Auburndale. She was a member of Faith Baptist Temple for many years.
The shining star of her life was her grandaughter, Allie Caitlin Conover.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donnie Conover; a son, David (Janet) Conover; grandaughter, Allie Caitlin Conover; brother, Doyle (Sue) Popplewell; nephew, Craig (Stephanie) Popplewell, great neice, Harper Popplewell and a host of relatives and friends.
Graveside service for Doris Faye Conover will be 1 PM. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Freedom Cemetery in Adair County with Bro. Troy Grider officiating. Interment in the Freedom Cemetery.
Visitation after 11 AM Wednesday, Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs.
The family requests memorials to Hosparus or Freedom Separate Baptist Church.
