Donnie Joe Parnell, 66, of the Keltner community, died Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home
He was born December 9, 1949, to the late Demmon and Annie Edwards Parnell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Edwards Parnell, a son; Jackie Parnell and a step-son; Steve Chapman. Donnie attended Maple Hill United Methodist Church and was a farmer.
Survivors include:
One step-son – Kenny Chapman of Columbia
Three brothers – James Parnell of Edmonton, Leon Parnell of Center, Jimmy Parnell of Columbia
Six sisters – Lucille Oaks and Linda Patterson both of Greensburg, Ethel Wallace and Doris Gilpin both of Horse Cave, Violet Spoon and Becky Parnell both of Columbia
Five grandchildren – Jordan Parnell (Donnie’s special grandson), Tyler Chapman, Breanna, Jacob and Alexis Parnell

Funeral service – Monday, December 21, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Herbert Janes, Bro. Timmy Glass and Sister Rita Houk officiating
