Born July 3, 1928, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Matthew Thomas and Estelle Fottenbury Cooper. Margaret was a housewife and former employee of the sewing factory. She attended both Rheber Church of the Nazarene and Highway 206 Holiness Church. Margaret was a Christian lady who trusted God and loved her family. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandy Moxley Sneed of Liberty; an adopted daughter, Katie Bell of Nicholasville; two step-daughters, Nancy Davis and Nannette Wright, both of Liberty; two grandchildren, Joey Rowland and Bridget Rowland; one brother, Raymond (Edwinna) Cooper of Liberty; and one sister, Helen Clements of Liberty.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Kay Moxley and Beverly Overstreet Clements; six brothers, Matthew Thomas Cooper, Jr., Thomas Jackson Cooper, Harold Lloyd Cooper, Ronnie Cooper, Gary Cooper, and Ortis Cooper; two sisters, Sybil Cooper and Doris Trammel; and her former husbands, Jack Bell and Bueford Overstreet.
Funeral services are 3:00 P.M. Thursday, October 18, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Brother Johnnie Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Margaret’s pallbearers are Mike Schnatz, Robert Bailey, Jake Gamble, Jason Cooper, Billy Dunkin, and Aaron Cain.
