David Dawl Bodner, 92 of Danville, formerly of Stanford passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015. Born August 12, 1923, he was the son of the late Mike and Anna Gaddis Bodner. He was preceded in death by a son, David Lee Bodner, one sister and eight brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Nina Cox Bodner; three children: Conn Joseph (Charlene) Bodner of Waynesburg, Lois (Bob) Aaron of Nicholasville and Rhonda Bodner of Danville; daughter-in-law, Connie Cope Bodner; six grandchildren: Alisa, Steven, Mark, Debbie, Heather and Shawna; thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be at 1 pm, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Bro. Ronnie Lee and Bro. Donald Lear. Burial is in Moreland Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 pm, Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Paul D. Bodner, Mark Bodner, John Bodner, Steve Aaron, Homer Riddell and Leroy Asbery.
Honorary pallbearers are Bob Aaron, Mrs. Stella Beavers, Michael Roberts, Jerry Jones, Douglas Ruckel, Glen Steinberger and members of Harris Creek Baptist Church.
