Born February 19, 1934 in Boyle County, KY, he was the son of the late Everett “Pop” Luttrell and Lula Luttrell. He was a farmer and welder. He was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Russell Springs and member of the Columbia Sportsman Club. He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Holmes Luttrell of Columbia; three sons, James P. (and Patricia) Luttrell of Liberty, David (and Billye) Luttrell of Liberty and Everett Luttrell of Columbia; three daughters, Barbara (and David) Passmore of Liberty, Wanda Long of Russell Springs, and Lula (and Weston) Holley of Jamestown; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great- grandchildren: and a great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Katherine Patricia Luttrell; two sons, Dale and Steven Luttrell; five brothers, Elbert, Ray, Henry, Rastus, and Timothy Luttrell; and three sisters, Molly Cooper, Betty Wright and Sadie Wright.
Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. CST (Russell Springs time) Friday, November 27, 2015 at the First Apostolic Church with Bro. Randy Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Bowmer Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 11:00 A.M. CST until funeral service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
