Coy L. McGowan 66,of Jamestown, KY passed away on Monday Sept. 7th, at his home.
Coy was born in Russell Springs,KY on Jan.10,1949, a son of the late Audrey(Tucker) and Tulsey B. McGowan.
He worked at Fruit of the Loom until retirement.
Coy was the husband of Gloria (Kell) McGowan.
He is also survived by
one son Mike (Amanda) McGowan, of Jamestown, KY.
two sisters Kay Shearer, of Jamestown, KY, and Lana White, of Ashland, KY
three brothers Don McGowan, of Russell Springs, KY., Drew McGowan and Limmy McGowan both of Jamestown, KY.
nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
He is preceded in death by one son Reggie A McGowan, one grandson Jacob A. McGowan, one sister Char Wooldridge, and five brothers Chuck, Timmy, David, Doyle and Wnston McGowan.
Funeral Services for Coy McGowan will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY, at 10:00am on Thur. Sept. 10th with Bro . Richie Curtis officiating.
Visitation after 5:00pm on Wed. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Jamestown City Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.
