She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church, was a retired machinist after 40 years with Batesville Casket Company, and was a cosmetologist.
She united in marriage to Norman Wayne Paxton on March 26, 1983 who preceded her in death o August 24, 2012.
Survivors include two step-children: Brad Paxton of Georgetown, Anne Vinson of Scottsville; two special nieces: Jacy Warrell and her husband, Chris of Tennessee, and Samantha Stenger of Hawaii; a brother: Luther W. Giltner, Jr. of Indiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Paxton was also preceded in death by five sisters and a brother: Gwendolyn Brinson, Jennifer Wooley, Linda Wooley, Bonita Geyman, Bridgette Corbin, and Michael Giltner.
Mrs. Paxton chose cremation. No formal services at this time. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, in charge of the arrangements.
