Charlie Howard Allen age 91 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Robley Rex V.A. Medical Center in Louisville, KY. Charlie was born on May 28, 1924 in the Amandaville Community of Cumberland County, KY to the late Joe and Effie Lee Sprouls Allen. He was a former employee of General Motors in Detroit, Michigan, a former construction worker, and a farmer.
He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

His Wife- Dorothy Carey Allen of Burkesville, KY
Two Daughters- Melissa Allen and Sarah Johnson and her husband Thomas all of Louisville, KY
One Granddaughter- Janelle Johnson of Alexandria, Virginia
and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service:
Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Waterview Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
