Charles Sidney Helm age 76 years of Columbia passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at 9:25 PM at Signature Health Care at Summit Manor. He was born on September 1, 1939 in Adair Co., the son of the late Grover and Hallie Piercy Helm .
He was a retired dairy farmer for nearly 60 years from the Garlin community and beloved husband for 59 years to Eulah Curry Helm who survives & a member of Bearwallow United Methodist Church.
also surviving one son Charles Avert "Chuck" Helm & his wife Kristina of Raywick, KY.
Three daughters Marian Smith & her husband Rev. Dr. Jay Smith of Smiths Grove, KY, Teresa Bright of Columbia, KY, & Pat Coomer & her husband David of Columbia, KY.
One sister Joyce Maulden of Columbia, KY.
Six grandchildren Nick (Kristy) Bright, Seth (Katy) Coomer, Eli Coomer, Jericho Smith, Sydney Bright & Emily Appleby.
Step-Grandchildren Lindin Mattingly & Amber Jeffries
One Great Grandchild Sadie Kay Bright
& several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives & friends survive
