Charles “Granny” Abston, 74, of Columbia, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born September 8, 1941, in Adair County, to the late Beecher & Nora Shearer Abston. He was well known for his tree topping skills, working at auctions and being a collector.

Two Daughters – Jennifer Momanyi & Jessica Ayala both of Columbia
Three Brothers – Ricky & Paul Abston both of Columbia, David Abston of Noblesville, IN
Three Grandchildren – Jayvion Momanyi, Cristian Ayala & Gabriel Ayala and expecting his fourth grandchild
Funeral Service – Friday, February 26, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Helm officiating
