Charles Gaynell Bolling, Jr 93 of Parksville passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Born June 3, 1922, he was the son of the late Charles and Pearl Hickock Bolling. He was a 59 year Deacon and the oldest living member of Moreland Christian Church.
He was a US Army Air Corp WW II veteran and a Mason for 50 years. Junior was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Padgett, a grandson, Daniel Lay and a great granddaughter, Cassi Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mildred Underwood Bolling; two daughters: Nancy Lay and Terry Shaffer, both of Danville; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 am, Saturday at Moreland Christian Church by Rev. David Smith with burial in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home.
