Cathy Long Akin, 51, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at her home.
She was born July 3, 1964, in Adair County. She attended Eagle’s Nest Church now Word of Life Church as long as her health permitted.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia “Pat” Wright Hare on October 4, 2015.

Her Father – Jimmy Long of Columbia
One daughter – Shauna Akin of Columbia
Two sisters – Cindi Alexander of Columbia, Susan Lillis of Richmond
Two grandchildren – Aiden & Axton Hadley

Funeral service – Monday, March 28, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Shelton officiating
