Carolyn Wilson Toms, age 79 of Winchester, formerly of Liberty, KY, passed away peacefully, Thursday August 20th, 2015 at her home after a long illness. She was born December 2nd, 1935 in Liberty, KY a daughter of the late William and Emily Beatrice (Bea) Wilson.
She was a retired Cosmetology Instructor with Somerset Beauty School and was of the Baptist Faith. Carolyn was the widow of Leon Kessler Toms.
Survivors include One Son: Gregory Lee Toms of Louisville, KY, One Daughter: Emily Carole Toms of Winchester, KY, Two Grandchildren: Kaitlin Grace Toms of Lousiville, KY and Adam Corey Bush of Winchester, KY, One Brother: J.C. Wilson of Lexington, KY and One Sister: Loyise Ave of Cincinnati, OH. Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband were Three Sister: Frances Lynn, Maxine Frederick and Virginia Grider and One Brother: Genie Wilson.
Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday August 26th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday August 26th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating.
Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
