Carmel Anderson, 69, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Thursday, August 27th, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Wanda (Norman) Anderson of Russell Springs.
Carmel was born in Kimper, Kentucky on September 5, 1945, a son of the late Ada (May) and Victor Anderson. He was a retired Dock Worker for the bakery industry and a proud member of Teamsters Local 734.
He is also survived by three daughters, Sandra May, of Russell Springs, KY; Dena Plescia, Aurora, Illinois; Sheila Anderson-Athern, of Darien, IL
8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren also survive along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Carmel is also survived by four sisters, Eva Mounts, of Phyllis, KY; Avenelle Ramey, of Lick Creek, KY; Jean Adkins, of Russell Springs, KY; Audrey Mae Anderson, of Russell Springs, KY.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Lonnie "Bo" Anderson.
Funeral Services at Wilson Funeral Home, Russell Springs, KY, at 12 Noon on Monday, August 31st,
First visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home, 2nd day of visitation will be after 2 PM on Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home and after 11 AM on Monday prior to the service.
