Carl Eugene Melton, age 59, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Tuesday April 12th, 2016 at the Russell County Hospital. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 23rd, 1956 to Lora Marlene Cox Melton of Liberty and the late Elmer Junior Melton.
Carl was employed in the automotive industry and a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: His Spouse: Rebecca McCubbins Melton, Four Children: Stacy Abels of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Melton of Bedford, IN, Kristina Southard of Franklin, IN and Maxwell Melton of Liberty, Five Grandchildren: Kaylee and Riley Abels, Emily and Sarah Melton and Aria Southard and One Sister: Sherrie Burns of Liberty.
Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday April 18th, 2016 at Melton Cemetery. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday April 18th, 2016 at Melton Cemetery. Bro. Brent Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the Melton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Bartle Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
