Brenda Ann Harvey Wood 62 of Glasgow died at her home Tuesday, December 22, 2015. She was a native of Barren County and resided in The Temple Hill community. Brenda was a member of Temple Hill Baptist Church and was retired from Glasgow State Nursing Facility where she was R.N. for many years. Her father was the late Walter H. Harvey and her mother is Betty Sabens Harvey of Glasgow who survives.
In addition to her mother she is survived by 2 sons Jamie (Elizabeth) Wood of Glasgow and Doug (Katie) Wood of Cave City; a brother David (Sandy) Harvey of Glasgow; a sister Paula Harvey of Hardyville; a niece Katye Harvey of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Shelby, T. J., Alex, Andrew and Kreed Wood all of Glasgow; a special aunt Sarah Frances Eaton and several cousins. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a son Joe Howard "Little Joe" Wood.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 28th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3pm Sunday.
