Bill Short, 73, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Saturday, January 16th, 2016 at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, KY.
Bill was born in Clay County , TN on December 8, 1942, a son of the late Melia (Scott) and Herman Short. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Curtis, brothers, Jackie D., Arlee & Bobby Short. He married Evelyn Stephens February 4, 1961 in Livingston, TN, who survives. He was a 1960 Graduate of Tompkinsville High School, retired from Insurance Sales & member of Germany Church of Christ.
Other than his wife of 54 years, Evelyn he is survived by two sons, Randy & Jimmy Short, both of Tompkinsville, KY, brother, R.C. Short, of Indiana; grandchildren, Anthony Curtis & Mary Jo (Joshua) Spurlock.
Funeral service at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, KY, at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 19th, with Jimmy Cook officiating, burial will follow in Bailey Cemetery, Hestand, KY.
Visitation, Monday 3-8 p.m. and Tuesday 6 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY .
