Betty Prochaska, 70, of Scottsville, KY died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at her residence. The Doniphan, Missouri native was a retired employee of Dollar General and member of Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a daughter of James Henry Myrick and Lydia Otrila Shaw Myrick.
She is survived by her husband: Eugene Prochaska, Scottsville, KY;
2 sons: Steve Roark and wife, Kim, Scottsville, KY; Phillip Prochaska, Portland, TN;
4 daughters: Angie Fox, Scottsville, KY; Renee Vaughn and fiance', Jim Hudson, Franklin, KY; Sheila Crockett and husband, Stacy, Orlinda, TN; Wendy Shrum and husband, Randy, Castalian Springs, TN;
1 sister: Mary Myrick, Bowling Green, KY;
1 brother-in-law: Timmy Prochaska and wife, Mary, Portland, TN;
10 grandchildren: Jonathan Vaughn, Bethany Vaughn, Heather Creekmore, Daniel Crockett, Cody Crockett, Mason Fox, Josie Fox, Taylor Roark, Carson Clay and Madison Clay;
Several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. David Brown and Bro. Charles Taylor officiating and burial in Hillsdale Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home.
