Ben H. Williams, Jr. 87 of Glasgow died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Benjamin Harrison Williams, Sr. and Emma Bowles. Mr. Williams was a road construction, heavy construction and mining superintendent and consultant and was employed with R. C. Durr, Addington Mining and Southern Explosives Co. He was a member of the Glasgow Wesleyan Church,
Survivors include two sons Tim Williams (Deborah) and Greg Williams (Donna) both of Scottsville; 2 grandchildren Evan Williams of Scottsville and Christina Williams of Bowling Green; a granddaughter-in-law Brandi Williams of Scottsville; and two great-grandchildren Joliene and Taylor Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Lynette Taylor Williams, a daughter Lodena Williams, a grandson Nick Williams and a sister Ruth Turner.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 21st at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Friday.
