
Barry was born on August 2nd 1974 in Somerset, to Martha Lou (Gadberry) Ryan Wilson and the late William Edwin “Bill” Ryan.
Barry was a 1993 graduate of Pulaski Co. High School, a veteran of the United States Army, formerly assisted with the Wayne Co. High School football team, and was a member of Steubenville Baptist church of Monticello.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Jerry William Wilson; one son, William Robert “Robby” Ryan; one sister, Angela Michelle “Angie” Ryan (and James Brunson); paternal grandmother Mary Anna (Phelps) Ryan; all of Science Hill and his former step-mother Lisa Tomlison of Somerset. Five uncles, Bobbie (and Connie) Ryan, James “Jimmy” (and Joyce) Ryan, Joseph “Joe” Ryan, and Billy Lewis Gadberry; all of Nancy, and Bobby Joe (and Sherlene) Gadberry of Jabez. Four aunts, Beverly Ann (and Fred) Lopes, of Eubank, Betty Jean Burton (and Randy Acey) of Science Hill, Mary Sue (and Greg) Fitzgerald, of Somerset and Polly Ann (and Jeff) Molen of Nancy. And a host of cousins, friends, and family to mourn his passing.
Barry was a proud father, beloved son, and special brother who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father William Edwin “Bill” Ryan, paternal grandfather John “Edwin” Ryan and maternal grandparents Lewis and Edna (Johnson) Gadberry.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 20, 2015 after 5:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
His funeral service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Philip Drake and Bro. Larry Butte officiating. Burial will be at Mill Springs National Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
